Istanbul the Light – IMM and the Contemporary Istanbul Foundation organized an event that made Istanbul known worldwide through art.

With the “Istanbul the Lights” project, the works of more than 50 artists are exhibited on led screens as well as in the city’s parks and squares.

The promotional meeting of the organization, which was held between December 7 and January 3, was held online on December 5 with the participation of IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has sparked a new one to the organizations it organizes and supports to improve the city’s cultural and artistic life. IMM and the Contemporary Istanbul Foundation (CIF) collaborated on the “Istanbul the Lights” project.

The project’s scope spread throughout Istanbul and planned to last about a month. Besides, more than 50 works of more than 50 artists prepared to be displayed in the parks, squares of Istanbul.

The online promotional meeting of the event, which will be in every year and bring the light together in Istanbul, will be held on December 5 at 11:00 with IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu and CIF Chairman Ali Gureli.

The introductory meeting of “Istanbul the Lights” brought new richness and excitement with the blend of urban culture and watched through IMM’s official social media pages.

Light and digital adaptations had met with Istanbul in the parks and squares of Istanbul within the scope of the event, which IMM provides field and media support.
